Daily Grill - Palm Desert, CA

Even though I’ll be away and completely removed from communication, I will use the magic of technology to have content from past meals appear. I’ll start with a quick lunch we boys enjoyed while in California for the Coachella music festival. We took a leisurely morning to explore the Palm Springs area and walk around the “world famous” El Paseo Drive, a.k.a. “the Rodeo Drive of the Desert.” It was hot and we had nothing in mind to buy so just strolled. After strolling we sat down at The Daily Grill for a nice, outside lunch of salads, ice tea and lemonade – how proper of us.

Our service was great and matched the equally stunning surroundings. Everyone was in a salad mood after some of the junk food we ate at the concert the day before. I opted for the ahi tuna salad, Phil a Chinese chicken salad and Jed a different grilled chicken salad. They were enormous but tasty and satisfying. You do pay for all the good food, bread, and drinks, but that should not be unexpected in Palm Desert, aka LA East. All in all a nice stop on our way to more music, drinks and sun. I’d definitely stop by again next time I need a break from shopping the El Paseo Dr.
